The Problem
LSIA (Laboratory of Systems Intelligents and Applications) needed a structured and centralized system to manage its academic operations.
Member profiles, research publications, and CVs were maintained manually or stored in inconsistent formats, leading to:
- Non-standardized CV structures across members
- Time-consuming manual updates
- Difficulty maintaining accurate publication records
- Limited visibility of research teams
- Administrative overhead
Additionally, students lacked a centralized space to access academic articles and learning materials, while professors had no streamlined way to publish course resources digitally.
The laboratory required a unified platform to improve organization, autonomy, and knowledge accessibility.
The Solution
A custom laboratory management platform was developed to centralize and automate academic and educational workflows.
The solution includes:
- Secure authentication system allowing members to log in and manage their own profiles
- Structured research publication management with relational data organization
- Research team management with clear hierarchy and role assignments
- Automated CV generation based on standardized academic templates, ensuring institutional consistency
- Beyond internal management, the platform also integrates:
- A blog-style knowledge portal where students can log in, browse, and search academic articles
- A course management module enabling professors to upload and distribute course materials in PDF format
- Instead of relying on fragmented documents and manual processes, the system provides a centralized, scalable, and maintainable solution tailored to academic institutions.
- The platform enhances operational efficiency, ensures data consistency, improves knowledge accessibility, and strengthens the laboratory's digital presence.
